Casa do Canto vineyards, nowadays, cover an area of ??40 hectares and are located in a unique terroir of clay-limestone soils from Bairrada, spread over gentle hills that are warmed by the sun and swept by Atlantic winds, which give it a freshness that is particularly present in the whites and natural sparkling wines.

Casa do Canto is known for the nobility of its whites and natural sparkling wines, wines with balanced acidity and pronounced aromas, and for the excellence of its reds for ageing, full-bodied wines with an intense colour.

In 2010, at the beginning of the 21st century, CASA do CANTO was acquired by its current owners.

The vineyard area was increased, the winery was modernized, the oenology services were relocated, the sales service was boosted, exports began and took off on new heights. Thus, with the work of some, the knowledge of others and the commitment of all, we have reached the current level of quality and prestige of which we are proud.

In 2015, with the winemaker Pedro Guilherme Andrade, there was a change in the winemaking and profile of our products.

The Colheita Selecionada White, Rosé and Red, Reserva, Grande Reserva and Topos de Gama 3 Barricas, 100% Arinto, and Baga Bairrada Classic appeared.

In Natural Sparkling Wines, the range was expanded to include six Natural Sparkling Wines D.O.C. Bairrada, Classic method.

We also launched wine vinegars, a prestigious natural product, and we are going to launch an exceptionally high-quality, very old wine brandy.
